The Coming Alive Project is a collaboration between two dynamic professionals: Mollie Birney + Katie Griffin. Our speciality is unearthing, awakening, and disrupting - in the best possible way!

Our mission is to restore humans to our most  fully alive, expressed, and engaged selves. We’ve created a series of workshops that will be a catalyst for radical shifts in perspective, actionable change, and fresh permission to occur and operate authentically.

Join Mollie and Katie in the first workshop “Coming Alive: The Catalyst” and start a new adventure!

AWAKEN, ENGAGE, AND INTEGRATE ALL PARTS OF YOUR LIFE

You know that area of your life that’s just…congested?
The part where…

  • You’re not operating from freedom, despite being successful

  • Trusting yourself feels impossible

  • Repeated patterns keep showing up

  • You’re always scrambling for control

  • You don’t have access to full self-expression

it’s time for a new conversation.

Start with Coming Alive: The Catalyst.

This is a fluff-free workshop oriented towards action, that will invite you to navigate through hard topics in a way that is playful, opening, and empowering.

You’ll leave the workshop with a personalized action step - a commitment that, when upheld by you, will reframe your thought patterns and propel you forward towards a thriving, engaged, authentic life.

You’ll have the agency to make positive and impactful changes, finally getting unstuck.

Make a personal commitment towards something greater than you’ve been experiencing -

It’s time to come alive.

SPARK A RADICAL SHIFT IN YOUR PERSPECTIVE.

In our day together, we’ll focus on ACTION.

You will:

  • Bring oxygen to areas of your life that have felt constricted and congested.

  • Integrate—and begin to contribute from—all parts of yourself.

  • Recognize possibilities, identities, and opportunities that hadn’t been available to you before.

  • Articulate a personalized commitment to maintain momentum.

Our objective is to breathe new vitality into all areas of your life so you can become more dynamically alive.

Midway International Airport (MDW): Situated on the city's southwest side, Midway is closer to downtown Chicago. Choosing Midway can result in a shorter commute to both the workshop venue and various attractions within the city.

O'Hare International Airport (ORD): Located on the northwest side, O'Hare is one of the busiest airports in the United States. While it may be slightly farther from downtown, O'Hare offers extensive flight options and excellent transportation links to the city center.

Ultimately, your choice of airport can depend on your flight preferences, schedule, and proximity to your accommodation. Both airports are well-connected, ensuring you can reach our workshop conveniently.

    3. Lyft and Uber: Ride-sharing services like Lyft and Uber are widely available in Chicago. You can use their apps to request a ride conveniently to your desired location. These services are a flexible and popular choice for getting around the city.

    4. Taxi Services: Traditional taxis are also readily available in Chicago, offering an alternative to ride-sharing apps.

    5. Divvy Bikes: Chicago's bike-sharing program allows you to rent bicycles to explore the city at your own pace. It's a great option for short trips within neighborhoods.

    6. Walking: Many parts of Chicago, especially downtown, are pedestrian-friendly, and walking can be a pleasant way to explore the city's architecture and culture.

    7. Water Taxis: Chicago's river and lakefront locations make water taxis a unique and scenic mode of transportation. They connect popular destinations along the Chicago River and Lake Michigan.

  • For our out-of-town attendees, Chicago offers a variety of accommodation options to suit your preferences and convenience. You can explore accommodations on Airbnb and VRBO for a more personalized experience.

What people say about working with Katie

Terrific, beginning to end. The emphasis on being able to make mistakes — mistakes being explicitly invited actually, and acknowledged as both important and invaluable — was extremely helpful.
— Institute Participant
Effective, warm, thoughtful, skillful with containment, direction, and supportive structure
— Conference attendee
I continue to reflect on the training institute she offered, the sustained attention and guidance she brought to it, and the skill with which she guided us into relative depths of engagement. I was so impressed that in such a short time she was able to invite safety and intimacy, and that her strong stance allowed us to deepen both.
— Adam Benjamin, LCSW, Portland OR

What people say about working with MOLLIE

Therapists told me to get out of the woods, but Mollie actually showed me how.
I accomplished more with Mollie in just a few months than in two years of therapy.
Mollie is a force of nature. She has a tremendous talent for making change not only possible, but actionable. I feel like she sees who I am at my core.
